A Tisket, A Tasket, About that Basket… Part Two

In our last post, we recommended some fresh options for your flower girl. Now let’s talk about items the ring bearer can carry.

If you choose to go the traditional route and give him a pillow, make it meaningful. Maybe you can use some lace from your mom’s wedding gown, or quilted squares with messages from loved ones. You can also create a lovely bloom to match the flower girl’s arrangement.

A pretty yet practical item is a small jewelry box. I did this for my own wedding, and now I keep my wedding rings in this box. You can engrave your initials or your wedding date onto the lid. Here are some timeless options from The Left Bank in Chicago.

Or you can use a box that matches your wedding colors.

He could carry a book of poems or one that has a special meaning for the bride and groom. This one has a heart cutout where you can store rings or another token. A tiny nest would also be a sweet choice.

You can pick an item that complements the feel of your wedding.

I love these signs. Your ring bearer can carry one, or he and the flower girl can share the message!

Are you using any unique items for your little ones?
